Aref Al-Awani crowns Ankora as the champion of the Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup
Yesterday evening, the Sultan bin Zayed Polo Championship was concluded in its first edition, which was held at Ghantoot Club (without fans) from January 19 to February 1, 2021 and is organized by the club under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan – President of the Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Emirates Polo Association, and sponsored by Yas International Real Estate Company, LLC and Capex.com, Yas Holding Company, Alpina Rent A Car Corporation, Zone West Recycling, Ateeq Equine Supplies, Medad Tents and Amal Foodstuff.
His Excellency Aref Hamad Al-Awani – Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, yesterday evening crowned the Ancora Polo Team as the champion of the Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup after defeating the Abu Dhabi team by a score of 5/6, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed bin Hofan Al Mansouri – Vice Chairman of the Club Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo, H.E. 6/7).
