About Us

Founded in 1994, Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club is a private venue in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates built by the vision of the late president, H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and run today under the patronage of his son H.H. Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the only royal equestrian polo facility in the UAE. The polo club is set in 300 hectares of lush grassland and boasts world-class polo and equestrian facilities, showcasing 8 polo fields, horse stables, a colonial-style clubhouse, and a 2,000-seater grandstand equipped with great features.

Polo School

The club’s dedication to bringing more than just hosting polo events extends to teaching how to play polo from a beginner to a professional level. Classes are available for both children and adults with several options to choose from at an affordable cost. Joining the polo academy will provide great benefits for students such as but not limited to the following: access to the training grounds and other common areas; have the option to use polo safety gear and other equipment courtesy of the club, and have the best training from professional coaches.

Equestrian Supplies

The polo club will soon be fully-equipped with the necessities and requirements of maintaining equestrian facilities. Supplies such as horse feed, supplements, grooming essentials, polo and horse riding equipment, etc., will be made available for purchase. The high-quality products will be sourced from a legitimate and highly-reliable equestrian supplier in the United Arab Emirates. Horse Riding School

Horseback riding lessons are also offered by the club suited for both children and adults. Professional trainers will help students develop the proper skillset using approaches based on their current riding skill level. Enrollees will have several options to choose from including private or semi-private lessons, group lessons, and an option to use their own horse. In addition, every student should undergo a riding assessment first to check if there will be no issues on both the welfare of the rider and the horse during classes.
